What is a Curator?

The part of Selfe that checks a business's facts against real evidence before they're trusted, weighing a claim differently depending on whether it comes from a verified system or an unverified source.

Good for: Weighing a claim by where it came from. Not good for: Guaranteeing a fact is true, only that it's been checked against real evidence.

Not every fact arrives with the same confidence. A Curator is what applies that judgement: a number pulled from a business's own booking system is treated differently to the same number typed into a form, and a claim repeated across several independent sources counts for more than one unverified mention. It's the layer that stops an Echo from being only as reliable as whoever last edited a webpage, and it's why an AI agent checking a business's facts is checking something graded, not a flat list of unweighted claims.
