This scorecard assesses the current performance of AI front-end interfaces across six key areas crucial for seamless travel planning and booking. These include handling diverse user input (currently scoring 6/10), managing user expectations during processing (3/10), building on existing user research (2/10), remembering relevant context (4/10), connecting with necessary travel systems (2/10), and presenting complex information clearly (5/10). The analysis reveals that while AI excels in text-based interaction, challenges remain in processing multimedia content, managing complex workflows, integrating external information, maintaining consistent context, and connecting with live travel data. These findings highlight the need for Agent-Ready infrastructure that empowers venues to seamlessly integrate with AI-driven travel planning, enabling coordinated booking and orchestrated trips based on AI profiles and context-aware discovery.
