Current travel discovery systems struggle with complex needs like group coordination and iterative planning. Taash highlights the missing infrastructure required for sophisticated travel, impacting all personas from travellers to GMs. Our analysis reveals the need for an agent-ready orchestration layer, group coordination tools, and venue personality data standards. Existing systems prioritise transaction speed over discovery quality, overlooking the importance of matching travellers with the right venues based on AI profiles and character settings. Taash proposes a hub-and-spoke infrastructure model that simplifies N×N relationships between platforms and venues, emphasising trust, data enrichment, and shared preference intelligence through a Social Matching Engine and Context-Aware Discovery. Further research is needed to validate user preferences, explore revenue models, and address technical implementation challenges. Taash’s infrastructure-first approach aims to empower the entire travel ecosystem.
